I'm 16 and I've never had a boyfriend in my life! Is this normal?
All of my friends are either in a relationship or have been before, so I feel like I'm a freak!
two months ago, i felt exactly the same as you! i hadn't had a boyfriend, and i hadn't been kissed! but then i found a boyfriend through my friends. everyone thinks we are perfect together, we get on amazing, and tbh, im so glad he was my first kiss (: nobody knows it was my first kiss, he didn't even know, its the most natural thing in the world and it just happens and if your boyfriend is the sort of person you'd want to stay with he will understand if your not good at it at first anyways.
This will happen for you. I thought the same, but now i'm one of the happiest people (: I don't have boyfriend troubles because im with someone i trust with my life and i'm with him because i love him. I don't have regrets about people I got with when drunk and anything like that.
Looking back there were guys who liked me when i was younger... but i was too scared to go out with them. and i don't really know why! :L Just go for it. im sure there are guys who like you at the moment, you just dont know it!”
I didn't have my first kiss until I was 17! That was only last year... I'm nearly 18 and I have a boyfriend now (The first kiss wasn't with him, that was a very drunken mistake - unfortunately). Everything just happened all at once... it will happen, I promise you will find someone. I thought exactly the same as you when I was 15/16. Hang in there :)”
I didnt have my first proper boyfriend till i was 16, nearly 17. It only lasted a couple of months though. Then when i was still 17 i started going out with my current boyfriend and im 21 now and still with him. I dont regret anything at all because im happy with him totally.
But looking back i knew boys that did like me when i was 15, 16 and i liked them back. But i was just too scared to tell them incase they said no. So just be confident nad let the boy know you like them, its not the end of the world if they say no.
Thats my only regret, telling them.

I know it seems like a long way away, but you're far more likely to meet someone at university than at school as there's more people to choose from! :) Besides, if you wait for the right guy rather than jumping into bed with the first guy you see then everything will be so much better and it will have been well worth the wait; trust me! :)”

Don't worry about it. I had my first boyfriend when i was 19 - and he only lasted 3 weeks. Next one was a year later (lasted 3 months). Then at 24 I met the man of my dreams and 2 years later we got married and have now been married for 18months. I think if you don't rush into relationships too early you appreciate them more when you meet that special someone.”
don't worry about it so much, it's not the end of the world, when the right guy comes along, you'll know, it could just be they arnt your type, or your too mature for them, or they are all just idiots, if you see someone you like, make yourself known, friendships and relationships dont happen over night, well, they can, but lets not get into that eh ;p

Just because our friends are doing certain things it doesn't mean that we are odd because we arent doin the same things. It's probably just a bit of indirect peer pressure which is making you feel like that. But you are still young and you will no doubt have your share of good and bad relationships. It always seems like the grass is greener, we often want something we dont have, enjoy bein single while u can and in no way are u a freak”
