  1. I once had a condom come off inside me which was a bit embarrasing but it fell out when i stood up.

I also find with condoms my boyfriend finds it very hard to ejaculate and we can literally be going for hours which makes things sore! It's also not very sexy to stop and apply more lube! We've stopped using condoms now as we both got checked out.”

  4. I'm 20 and went on the pill for the first time a few months ago. It gave me thrush constantly for about 2 months (medication did not get rid of it) It also left me upset and feeling 'down' most of the time. I came off of the pill after a mere 2-3months and now would like to try a different type but am terrified this will happen again. I suppose it's a matter of finding what is right for you.”

  6. I have been on the pill for four years now and am slightly concerned about what all these hormones are doing to me. I started on the combined pill but it gave me migraine headaches so the doc moved me on to the mini pill. On this I had no periods so regularly panicked about pregnancy, so I went back onto the combined. Once I started uni I went to see a new doc who told me, because of the migraines, it was dangerous for me to be on the combined pill. I am now back on the mini, I very rarely have periods but my doc reassured me that this pill is very effective and much better for me then the combined. I am now considering the iud so as to stop excessive hormones in my body”

  7. As the Heat of the Moment rises the Stench of Rubber puts a Real Damper on the "Event".NON Rubber condoms take away all feeling of Sensation from the Man.I have found no other Replacements but used to buy Foreign Rubbers which were not so bad and fitted better”

  8. It's great to hear that so many girls are protecting themselves from unwanted pregnancy by taking the pill but PLEASE remember to use a condom as well. Especially if you are having casual sex/ one-night stands. I only stopped using condoms with my boyfriend after we had both been checked for STIs and were given the all clear. In the past I had been wreckless and let me tell you - it's not a nice feeling waiting for 2 weeks to find out if you've caught something or not, and thinking about who you may have passed it onto. Finally.. just remember that STI's can cause major problems to your reproductive system and make it difficult for you to have kids in the future! Be safe not sorry”

  9. i've had problems with contraception...... .......i've had a condom spilt and had to take the morning after pill and i'm allgeric to the pill. my family doctor was usless he didn't seem to do or be bothered about my situation. i'm now on the deppo injection and ave been for 5 years- i bled at first but brooke reassured me that this can happened and now i love it no periods and no bad pmt which i used to have plus for me no side effects.”

  10. my one problem was finding the right pill. i was on one where i didnt stop bleeding at all, one gve me terrble stomach cramps. but i think the pill is the easiest option once you settle with the best type for you. i find condoms messy, and its always a worry whith the risk of it breaking.”

  11. they first time i had sex, the condom came off, whoch obviously wasn't the best thing to happen, and it meant that it took ages for me to want to have sex again..luckily, it hasn't hasn't happened since, so i'm a lot more comfortable with my partner.”

  13. One of my friends also had non-stop bleeding whilst having the arm implant. Personally, I've been on the pill for just under a year and have had absolutely no problems with it. The only downside is you have to remember to take it everyday, but after a few months it just becomes routine”

  14. I was on the Injection for around a year and in that time I put on around a Stone and Half. I went to the gym regually and changed my diet and now ive been left feeling awful about myself and unable to motivate myself. I would recomend using the "mini pill" which i have used with no problems at all.”

  15. ALWAYS USE A CONDOM

    BUT beware of condoms.

They split and fall off. So no matter who you're with be prepared that you could still be a parent by the end of that session or in some cases owner of a STI.”

  16. First I tried the progesterone only pill because I couldn't have the normal pill for medical reasons, and I hated it. I got lots of breakthrough bleeding and felt down all the time. Also as my boyfriend gets really puts off by blood it worked wonderfully as a contraceptive since we just didn't have any sex for weeks! After that I got a Mirena coil (not the copper coil) and it is fantastic, I get virtually no periods and my sex drive/mood is normal. It needed a bit of adjustment with trimming the plastic tails they use to remove it, but after that I couldn't recommend it highly enough. And it lasts for five years!
I don't use condoms with my partner as we have been together for 5 years and one of the first things I asked him to do before we started having sex is to have an STD test at the local GU clinic (I did one too) and we both came back clear.”

  17. I have alot of problems with condoms i can never get them to fit they are always too tight & small i have tried the larger variety & still have problems my girlfriend dosen't understand that although i love sex with her i'd still like it to be pain free.”

  18. I once had the depo (injection pill) and it made me so hormonal that I didnt recognise myself. I never went back for the second injection, but my periods didn't come back until 2 years later. I now have the coil in and I've had it in for 3 years now with no problems. I totally recommend it to anyone to protect from pregnancy but it obviously doesn't protect from STI's!”

  19. When I was on the pill injection I found that when I was due for my period I would get really bad period pain and cramps. This happened every month until the injection wore off. Would not recommend it.”

  20. I was on the injection for 3 years and it really messed up my periods, gave me back aches and made me ache all the time. I'm now 'on' the implant and its so much better. My periods are gradually coming back, they are really erratic but its better than having none at all like on the injection, which freaked me out abit!
I've never been on the pill so can't really comment on that-I just don't think I'd remember to take it everyday”

  22. My experience was about contraception. I have used a condom everytime I had sex and this was with the same partner for about 6 months we were together. Then I night didnt use one, and unlucky as I was contracted and STI, Herpes; both oral and genitl with extreme symptoms. It is not a harmful STI, but was extremly painful and will be with me for life. So seriously, those who dont use condoms are being foolish, my case was unlucky, but it can easily happen to u!!! stay safe!”

  23. I fell pregnant whilst on the pill, young and unprepared accidents happen.
I now have an implant in my arm which screws with my cycle, nothing for 2 years then on for almost 7 weeks, but i now always demand a condom is used too.
    can never be too careful”

  25. i tried the contraceptive pill and it made me sick everyday and bleed all the time it was awful they then tried me on a few diferent ones all having the same effect and then i tried the contraceptive rod in my arm but it made me bleed all the time to, so i discussed it with my doctor and she advised me to just use condoms.”

  26. I'm 17 and I've had experience with condoms, and twice they broke in the space of two months. Having to rush and get the morning after pill made everything turn into such a worry, because I was ill each time I took it, and then had false pregnancy symptoms. It didn't seem worth the fuss so now I take the pill, and things are so much better. When I started it, I felt sick for a while, but now I'm so grateful I'm on it.”

  28. Hahaha yes. A condom once came off inside me. A trip to A&E was needed at 1am. 4 hours later I got to see a nurse and she reassured me that I wasn't the first this had happened to and I wouldn't be the last!

Am in a long term relationship now so we don't use condoms (have both been checked), so I have the implant. Some problems with it, has made my periods a bit mental so am taking the pill to settle it down which is working.”

  31. Never used a femidom but my girlfriend did try the injection it made her ill for 4 months (like she was pregnant - which I know is what it's supposed to do). We now stick to condoms.

Althoug h we are thinking of trying for a baby so we are planning for this and then its au natural until the magic happens and there's a mini me running around - lol!”

Now the female condom, er, is in a complete category of it’s own. It is hilarious to say the least, at least my experience was.”
