As a Christian, pornography was one of the reasons I divorced my husband, as I found it totally unacceptable, but he did not. If he needed porn then he clearly didn't need his own wife, it became clear he was a lying misogynist and manipulative *insert your own expletive* who didn't deserve a devoted, sexy, loving wife who had borne him two children. I would agree that it is demeaning to women, but also to men and family life.
Now I'm a single parent I would rather not date anyone who has an interest in pornography. Which probably means that my choices are very narrow, but when I find the right man, he will be able to accept me for who I am as a real living and breathing woman, not a simulacrum, a delusion, and if he's read Jean Baudrillard he'll know!”
