Parents teach us how to walk and talk, eat, ride bikes and not mess in public... so why is it that so many of them seem to stumble when it comes to communicating about one of life’s most important lessons: sex? Presenter Anna Richardson and sex and relationships psychologist Dr Petra Boynton take a group of parents back to school to learn how to talk to their teenagers about sex.
The average British couple has sex once or twice a week. 62% of women and 66% of men would like to have sex more often. To enjoy lots of good sex, it helps if you have a healthy sex drive or libido. Anna meets clinical psychologist Dr Cecilia d’Felice to find out more.
Despite a £150 million government campaign to halve the number of teen pregnancies by 2010, Britain still has the highest rate of teenage mums in Western Europe. In February this year, Minister for Schools, Jim Knight launched a review of the current state of sex education in schools. He's expected to announce some big changes soon and agrees to meet Anna for a sneak preview.
