Please help. I have problem with pulling back my foreskin. Is it normal? I am quite old (27) and technically still a virgin, When I was real young in my adolesence, I met an European/White Caucasian girl who almost gave me a "half" blow job. lads get a lot of pressure to have sex or sexual experiences, this aswell as pornography just raises the tension between the lad and sex. Although I have not have sex I have had 'fourplay' and this broke the worry for me. You HAVE to go to a doctor (NOT necessarily, you can also try to 'stretch' it back three to four times a day, bit by bit, or if you're brave, you can pull it ALL the way back once a day, and it'll stretch itself to a normal size xD) so he can watch it and see how the situation looks like.. Hi folks, I'm 51 now and despite enduring some severe injuries and traumas, i still clearly remember my own youth and sexual worries, hell, they still bothered me 'til the age of 26 and more!

I used to feel that penis size really did matter, but mostly to the blokes, and rarely to the girls. Most of all, it probably means the most to those of us who were not blessed with large members, like those you get to see, in mags, or sometimes in the showers at school.

I am 16 and worried a lot about my penis when i was your age. the foreskin will naturally fold back over the penis in due course(around 15). The average size of the penis at early puberty varies but i would say(when erect);
13 - 3 to 4.5inches
14 - 3 to 5.5inches
15 - 4 to 6.5inches
16+ - 5 to 7inches

To those asking questions on whether or not they should be in pain when pulling back foreskins or whether or not their 'head' should be covered:

The foreskin varies widely from each guy, and the conditions that it's under, for some the foreskin will cover the head completely when flaccid while others it may just cover it slightly or not atall. It all depends on what conditions and the state of arrousal you are under. For example after masterbation it may be different to what it was to before.

In the case of pain when trying to roll it back fully. The majority of you seem to be 14, 15 etc. suffering some discomfort when trying to withdraw the foreskin is not uncommon. It's not something to worry about or hurt yourself either, you may find that as you develop you will be able to draw it back completely. Just be patient and don't force yourself. being unable to drawn back the penis doesn't make you inadequate atall, it is not a call for circumsison either.

Alot of these questions have been answered in the TV programme but people are still posting so ill tackle a few.

Foreskins - Different for everyone tho if you think yours is quite tight and restrictive you should go and see a GP - dont be embarrassed even if you have to tell your parents - we are living in a sexual repressive culture - everyone's doing it but no-one's talking about it! The best thing you can do is talk to your parents about sex and penile problems - a home that openly discusses sex is a much happier one. (quote paraphrased from BBC's "Sex ... with Mum and Dad" a TV programme that aims to get families talking about sex with Dutch Sexologist Maria Schopel.

Penis Size - Average is 3.5 inches but it is not size that matters - physically (something I learnt from the TV programme) the length between the vulva and the g-spot is only around 3 inches anyway - so for max pleasure smaller can be better. If you do have a small penis (probably less than 3 inches when erect) then don't worry about it as you will still be able to have normal sex and women don't care too much about it anyway.

Penile Hygeiene - If you have white/yellow smelly bits just behind the corona (bell end) of your penis when you pull back you foreskin (most guys incl. myself do) then you have smegma - which if left to build up unchecked can cause problems incl. ballinitis or severe inflammation of the penis. The TV programme this site came from recommends cleaning with Salty water and using unscented soap - they don't give a timescale but once every 3 days should be fine. If you are however extremely sexually active or masturbate a lot (more than 4 times a week) then you should probably clean it every day. Smegma is a build up of dead skin cells basically so ensure you clean from FRONT to BACK all around the head (glans) behind the corona and down the shaft and testicles.

As to sex - despite what porn shows tell you - sex is an emotional and physical activity - it is something that should be done only in a committed relationship. Personally I say save it for marriage but recognise that not everyone thinks the way I do. In any case teenagers have far more to think about than sex! Your GCSE's or equivalent are exams that set you up for the future and are the most important exams you'll sit - Y? You do well in GCSE's, GNVQ's etc you can go on to do A Level's, Degree's Diplomas, get a good career. Plus how many of you think you'll be with your current girlfriend for longer than the next 3 years?

Think on this scenario - your standing at the Altar (on your wedding day) and your beautiful fiancee walks down the aisle to stand next to you, the ceremony gets underway and after your vows the priest gives the obligatory "If you know of any lawful impediment to this union speak now or forever hold your peace?" Suddenly from the guests 15-20 guys stand up and say "I object because the bride gave herself to me in a one night stand" or "I object because when we were together she promised me the sex we had was meaningful"

Heck how do you feel now knowing your girlfriend has probably had sex with most of your mates? Do you really want to put your bits where other guys have been before you? Girls do you really want a guy to put his penis inside you knowing he has been inside 20 of your mates?

This is not to put you off sex, as a Christian I believe sex is a wonderful expression of love between a married couple. Within a marriage I believe sex should be enjoyed as both a relational thing and a reproductive thing. It should never be a recreational thing tho! PORN is so damaging to people's ideas it is rediculous! Forget what's on the web concentrate on whats going on in your textbooks/classroom s.
